This U.S Army M1 Helmet front seam, swivel bails shows a nice overall patina on the shell where original green corked paint is in good condition. In front there is a decal of a Staff Sergeant's rank. The use of decals on WW2 US M1 helmets is quite rare, but it's documented. The liner is an early Westinghouse in fair condition, complete of all hardware. The leather chinstrap is very fragile and so tight to the liner that I don't dare to loosen it.
