DUTCH M27

The evolution of the Dutch M16, the M27, aka Nieuw Model was the helmet of Dutch troops in WW2 together with the M34, whose shape is very similar. The original light green, slightly textured colour, was at some point overpainted by a darker green, probably to offer a better camo performance. Both paints are visible inside and outside the shell of this good example. The front crest of the Orange-Nassau royal family was often taken off by soldiers on the field. Not in this case.
