Standard M42 of the Heer. The helmet retains about 85% of the feldgrau slightly rough textured paint, showing a nice patina. It is untouched as it was found in a farm in northern Italy. The leather liner is still soft, without tears and complete of original drawstring. The shell size 64 is marked with manufacturer's code ET on the left and production lot 2513 on the rear. The chinstrap is a full length 13 holes in good condition, a little stiffened on the end. No marking readable.
