The two pieces leather chinstrap, the interior liner and the rivets type indicate a wartime produced M33. It was clearly repainted and used after the war by a unit of Bersaglieri as the plume shows. Besides the white colour on the external shell shows that this helmet was used during the peacekeeping mission in Lebanon in 1982. The goggles marked "Salice" are original of the period. One of the most interesting post war Italian M33, still in very good condition.
