Helmet of the Bundesgrenschütz, the border police of West Germany. This helmet has the same shape of the WW2 German helmet, but a different color and a different liner, without ring and external rivets. The liner is held by a bolt hung at the upper dome. The chinstrap is the same model of the wartime type, but it was produced postwar. It is missing a portion. The net is original to the helmet.
