Unknown Austrian helmet
Here is another Austrian M-18 Stahlhelm with an unknown insignia on the left side.  The insignia is a red eagle on a white background above the word "TIROL."  I have seen another helmet like this only once before on Ron Distelhorst's site www.warelics.com.  He claims his piece is a Tyrolean SS helmet from the early 1930's, before the Anschluss.  His piece has early SS runes on the right side, whereas mine has a silver death's head badge from an SS cap or tanker's cap affixed to the right side.  Any idea what this is?
