CANADIAN MK-II
Very nice example of a Canadian helmet of WWII. The shell is marked CL/C, dated 1941. It was found in a barrack in Southern Germany where it sat since the end of the war. It retains all its brown paint with only some surface rust and sports an interesting camo pattern, made of wide areas of light green. A bi-tone camo net completes the set, giving it a very effective disruptive camo appearance. The net is pretty dusty and fragile, so I didn't dare to take it off. I couldn't find any marking visible on the liner, but it is clearly of Canadian manufacture, sometimes they show the markings on the rear, but I won't dismount it to read them. One of the best Canadian MKII's examples I have ever seen.
