US M1 KOREA REISSUED
Fine example of the helmet produced during WW2 that was reissued for the Korea War in early '50s. The shell in fact is a front seam, swivel bale with a kahki OD#3 chinstrap. The shell underwent a repaint, but the corked original paint is still visible underneath. A Lt. Rank has been welded in front. The helmet is named to John Voigt both on the shell and liner. Liner is has a decal on each side that I assume indicates the speciality, but I don't know what it is. I added a leather chinstrap original and correct for the period.
