HEER M40 Q68 CAMO

This Luftwaffe M40 was found in Quineville, Normandy. The 3 colours camo paint is still perfectly visible even though the shell is widely rust pitted. On the right side the remaining of the Heer decal, once laying under the camo paint are peeking out. The interior is very well preserved with a soft leather and tight rivets indicating that it has never been remounted. It is complete of a full lenght 13 holes chinstrap. I have to say that the clear pictures enhance more the defects than the good qualities of this helmet that looks far better in hands than in photos!

€ 950
